I m going to make one DAQ system for measurement of temperature and pH...in which i m going to use NI product..the card numbers are 9211, 9201, 9203....which are analog input card...

Now as I m a new user in labview...i need a help from u expert members...

I want to design one front panel in which i would like to show 3 individual buttons for that..when i select a temperature button on front panel at the same time I required to display 4 individual waveform charts which will show the acquire data on screen...or say temeparature or pH..

I had tried to make the same VI which i m attaching here...i need help from members to complete the VI...u plz suggest me all corrections or send me some good files which will guide me in the to make my front panel design as well block diagram for the same...

how can i make the front panel for the same.......plz advise me

Im a new LabView user. I just found out about the Mathscript in this program.
I have a few questions regarding the "if statement" and "while statement".

1. Is there a way to create "if" statements in LabView? I would have used case statements, but there are multiple variables being conditioned upon (Result, Result1, and Result2). As it stands now, I believe there is contention on the wire feeding into the duty cycle input of the waveform. I am trying to get the following functionality. :

if(Result){duty cycle = 45;}

if(Result1){duty cycle = 50;}

if(Result2){duty cycle = 60;}


2. I am also trying to get the following functionalty:

while(Result from comparator = = 1){

duty cycle = duty cycle +1;

}

i want to just receive data from serial port synchronously, my circuit that is atteched with resial port is a temperature sensor LM 35, ADC0804, and a PIC 16F84A, i connect just two wires from my circuit to serial port of computer one is pin no 2 (RX) and pin 5 (ground). i am able to receieve data at hyper terminal of window but i want to receive data at LABVIEW, when i try to receieve data at labview an undefined error accoured and error code is -1073807202. i have evaluation version of labview 8. i just what to receieve data from my device that i tell u above, synchronousely.
anyone can help me for this problem. pleassssssssse

Can anyone tell me the rhym or reason behind the Run Mode or Edit Mode settings of Sub-VI's.

After I finish editing, I set the sub-VI to Run Mode. But then when it gets called, it just doesn't seem to want to get out of edit mode.

What gives? What could this be?
